The Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) is designed to develop GE's next generation of Information Management leaders, enabling high-achieving graduates to make a smooth, accelerated transition into business. It is achieved by developing a strong technical foundation, cross-functional process knowledge and solid project management skills.
As an Information Specialist, you will have access to the latest A technology and become involved in high profile projects that are critical to our business success such as e-commerce, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations and data warehousing, to name a few.
The two-year program consists of a series of work assignments combined with classroom training and distance learning. Typically, you will experience four six-month work rotations. During the program, you will attend a series of comprehensive courses that provide valuable opportunities to share knowledge and skills, explore business functions, and network with high calibre peers who will become a valuable resource to you throughout your career.
As Information Management is such a vital aspect of GE, it needs people with strong interpersonal skills, a business orientation and a commitment to the team concept. Above all, we look for high achievers prepared to join a business that strives for market leadership.
