Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) OMLP is an ideal program for engineers with the energy and drive to deliver world-class manufacturing processes.

OMLP accelerates the development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Operations function at GE. OMLP is a 2-2 1/2 year program that allows members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. Through job assignments and training, program members are involved in GE's strategic initiatives-including GE's drive for Six Sigma quality.

Program Summary

◆Intensive 2-2 1/2 year program with at least 3 rotational assignments

◆Coursework includes: Project Management, Negotiation Skills, Finance Essentials, Environmental Health and Safety, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Operations

◆Mentoring, teamwork, ongoing reviews and defined deliverables

◆Experience the entire supply chain, state of-the-art manufacturing methods, and sourcing practices through structured course work and practical application.

Candidate Criteria

◆Academic excellence, business acumen and demonstrated leadership ability

◆Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills

◆Global mindset; able to operate across cultures

◆Degree in engineering or a technical discipline and relevant internship or work experience preferred

◆Strong commitment to a career in Operations Management
