From early 2004, GE Money began setting up offices in China. We currently operate under GE (China) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric Company. Our China CEO is Mr. Michael Barrett, based in Beijing.
In 2005, we entered into a strategic alliance with Shenzhen Development Bank, with the goal to help develop SDB into a preeminent retail bank in China.
In 2006, GE Management Technology Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was founded to provide finance, IT management, and consulting services. GEMTC is a wholly owned subsidiary of GE. |
